Now this I found amazing...
I have just a few things to share with
you...
A couple of weeks ago I gave you a pictorial
tour around my
backyard. It started with a "visit"
from a wild rabbit that
I took a picture of and shared with you.
Now this I found amazing...I had more
click-thrus on that
picture of a wild rabbit than I did on
a free ebook give-
away a few issues back. If you missed
that pictorial issue,
you can find it in the archives.
The ezine is entitled,
"It's been a beautiful day".
The archives are located here:

So what can we learn from this?
What kind of feedback did
I get? Several readers sent me an
email commenting about
how they appreciated my sharing my family
with them. Those
pictures proved that I am a real person...not
unlike you.
Readers identified with me, enjoyed the
rabbit, the dogs,
and the chickens.
So I would encourage you to just be
real! Tell your story
and invite people to be your friend.
As you pursue your
online business, building a relationship
with your list
will prove to be one of the most important
elements in your
success formula. You can take that
to the bank...
Speaking of the bank, I want to thank
each of you who made
a purchase through one of my affiliate
links last month.
It was my best month online so far...Thank
you very much!
One of my friends online who is a fellow
Kentuckian lives
just down the interstate from me.
He and his wife are
homeschoolers...they have chosen to educate
their children
from home and have some really neat resources
that they use.
One of these resources is a collection
of old radio shows.
These are great for any of you nostalgia
buffs as they date
back to the 40's and 50's.
Jim Erskine, my friend, makes
them available on one of his websites.
Each week he offers a free selection
as a download from his
website. Sign up for his
newsletter and you can build your
own collection of nostalgic radio shows.

The last few weeks I have been busy with
Subscribe-a-rama.
I have shipped out several gifts to the
lucky winners. Two
so far went overseas...one to Wales
and the other to the
Philippines.
As soon as I hear back from the other winners,
I'll be
shipping out more gifts. Be sure
and check your inbox every
day to see if you are a winner.
And make sure you keep your inbox empty...I'm
surprised how
many folks let their email inbox fill
up. Email bounces
when you do that, and you could miss a
very important
notice.
Are you interested in building your
own opt-in list for your
ezine? Several people asked me where
I got the idea for
Subscribe-a-rama.
Well, I wish I could say it was a totally
original idea, but
that would be stretching the truth just
a little.
Actually I got the idea from a new resource
made available
by Alex Sampson. It actually has
four more ideas for ways
to build your opt-in list included in
the recently released
video-ebook.
It has video tutorials explaining
how to set up different
techniques, and takes you step by step
through the whole
process. It's a very good resource if
you need to accelerate
your list building efforts.
Alex is practically giving this thing
away...
You won't believe how little he is asking
for it...

I had a big long spiel about email addresses
and providers
that I just clipped and saved for another
time...this ezine
is already long enough today.
If you haven't joined in the Subscribe-a-rama
party,
it's still not too late. It ends on the
23rd of August,
so you've got a couple more weeks to be
a winner.
And then the big gift packages will be
given away...
Still waiting to hear from Zara, Colin,
Evajean, Shirley,
Artie, Bimal, and James...your gifts are
waiting...
Til next time,
Be blessed,
JDB
